Miss Canary and The Prohibition is a 1930s based band from Oklahoma.
They are studying At the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma for their degress in performance. (ACM@UCO)
"We write about things that fortunate people turn a blind eye to. The man who inspired me to do so, is Johnny Cash. We need to let the world see and accept the ones who feel invisible, because they do exist. They may be homeless, old, or sick, but they are just as important and as alive as we are. We need to remember our roots, and therefore the beginning of music."- Miss Canary
Miss Canary and The Prohibition is planning on releasing their first record “Sunflowers and Cigarettes” within the next year, as well as discussing possible tour dates overseas. They are signed to Liquid Tree Records, a label based in Germany.
